A night with Uncle Richard and we are on our way home!

We visited Uncle Richard in Atlanta last night and had dinner at a lovely Italian restaurant with Danny and Mike. I behaved like a champ (again)!! While everyone else ate fish and pasta, I was served carrots and applesauce. Life just isn't fair sometimes! It was so nice to see everyone again.

I met Bentley and Winston at Peter and Richard's home last night. Bentley and I became friends quickly and I laughed so hard when he barked at me. I think that he thought I was a doggie toy, but he just licked my hand.

We woke up this morning and had a wonderful breakfast with Richard. While mom inhaled her blueberry pancakes; I ate mashed bananas. Mmmmm....
What's up, Richard?

"I said, 'NOOOOO more raccoon hats'!!!"

"There, much better. Head's up -it's smile time!"
"This is great."

"I can't remember what was so interesting, but I know that we are thinking the same thing."

"Breakfast rocked, but I am exhausted. We are on our way home. I can't wait for Grandma to squeeze me and Grandpa to make me laugh. They best take a nap before I arrive." Love you... Jake

Day 6 - What a great vacation!

We had a great time in Nashville! This was my first family vacation and it was a success. Aunt Ava and Uncle Chuck have a beautiful home and I loved playing with all of the kids. We are back on the road to Atlanta and will see Uncle Richard. I will post more pictures then!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is my first Thanksgiving! I wore a "stuffed" shirt and my turkey hat! I am so cute, I can hardly stand myself! I didn't eat any turkey because it would make me gag, but I checked out the food and it looked really good. I passed out during dinner and took a nice long nap.

This is Remi and me just hanging out after our walk.
Daddy, Momma, Remi, Mia and me all went for a walk before the dinner. It was very nice outside, but mom still made me wear this silly monkey hat. She says that I look cute in it!

Day 4 - Today we went to downtown Nashville!

But, the sun was bright and I pulled my hat over my eye to block the sun. I am sooooo smart!

Dad was tickling me tonight and made me laugh really hard!

Day 3 - I am ready to crawl... but I put it in reverse!

I am learning how to crawl, but I only move in reverse. Nash, the dog, distracts me a little!

Day 2 - It was a long first night...

It was strange being in a new bed tonight and I didn't sleep well. I was awake for most of the night and cried a lot. Nevertheless, I pulled it together in the morning and played with my dad in bed.

I like to hang out with Chase!

Chase took great care of me when mom and dad visited with Chuck and Ava!

I'M AWAKE!

I woke up just in time to see the pretty sky!

Official Day 1 of Our Family Vacation to Nashville!

We actually started out last night and I have included a picture below of me waiting for mom and dad to get their "stuff" together and packed in the car. I was a champ waiting for those two figure out how to get all of my toys in the back of the car. It looks a lot like Christmas Vacation but without "Aunt Edna".
We met Grandma and Grandpa for dinner at the Cracker Barrel after leaving Orlando. As always, it was an action packed dinner. I am constantly moving.

Dad drove and drove and drove last night before stopping at the Marriott in Macon, Georgia. This was my first time at a hotel and I was awake for most of the night. I don't know if I was just excited or it was the 1200 lb. Sasquatch above us stomping around. I had to pick the popcorn from the ceiling out of my hair this morning.

We stopped for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel (again - what is it with this place). I am dressed for the west and found a horsy to ride. The day keeps getting better and better. YEE HAH & GIDDEE UP!!

After breakfast, I found a rocker outside that fit me perfectly! I spent a little time rocking like a big boy and then we were off in the car again. We only have 5 hours left to go!
I think that I will take a nap now! That rocking can make a boy tired! Love you!

A visit from Aunt Judi and Miss Dara too!

Yesterday, Aunt Judi and her friend Miss Dara stopped by to see me! They looked so nice that dad mistook them for realtors and almost sold them my crib!! Yikes!

HO! HO! HO! I've been a very good boy this year!!

Mom took me to the mall this week to meet Santa. I was very excited and did not get upset by his brillo pad beard. As a matter of fact, I liked it and tried to take a hold of it.
